Jamal Campbell-Ryce scores with first touch in Chesterfield draw at ScunthorpeSubstitute Jamal Campbell-Ryce salvaged a point for Chesterfield with his first touch in a 1-1 draw at Scunthorpe in a game of two contrasting halves.Scunthorpe dominated the opening period with some sustained attacking pressure.Neal Bishop and Tom Hopper both went close before they were rewarded with the opening goal after 18 minutes.A defence-splitting pass from Jim O'Brien sent leading marksman Paddy Madden racing free into the box to round goalkeeper Tommy Lee and notch his 20th goal of the season, leaving Chesterfield appealing in vain for offside.Scunthorpe continued to dominate the possession without being able to add to their lead.Just before the break the visitors went close to an unlikely equaliser when a dipping shot from the edge of the box by midfielder Connor Dimaio was tipped over by Luke Daniels. But Chesterfield came back strongly in the second half as Scunthorpe faded. They equalised on the hour through Campbell-Ryce who, a minute after coming on, popped up unmarked at the far post to meet a low right-wing cross from Jay O'Shea and sweep a shot into the roof of the net with his first touch of the game.Chesterfield finished the stronger of the two teams but could not find a winner
