Wolves were 4-1 victors at Leicester on the final day of the season, and will play Black Country rivals West Bromwich Albion in the play-off semi-final.

The Dublin-born youngster sealed the win with a penalty four minutes from time, and has helped inspire the midland side's rise into the promotion frame following his January move to Molineux.

And Scunthorpe fans will be wishing him well in the play-offs - if Wolves win promotion while Keogh is on their books, then they will receive £250,000 as part of the deal that saw him leave Glanford Park.

"I didn't imagine a top six finish when I signed in January," admitted Keogh.

"I've won promotions from League Two and League One with Scunthorpe - and I'd give everything to get another one from the Championship.

"I played over 20 games for Scunthorpe so I will be getting a medal to put in my collection, two promotions in one season would be amazing."

Derby County and Southampton are the two other play-off hopefuls, while Sunderland were crowned Championship winners after a comfortable 5-0 win at Luton Town.
