Gary Hooper may have to wait another six weeks before being able to make his Scottish Premier League debut for Celtic as he struggles with a torn calf muscle.
Hooper, who moved to Parkhead in a deal believed to be worth £2.4million this summer, missed Saturday's season-opening 1-0 win at Inverness Caledonian Thistle with the injury to his left leg. He has now been told it could be a month and a half before he is able to return.
His only competitive match for the Hoops so far was the 2-1 win over Braga in a Champions League qualifying match, he scored in the match but the victory was not enough to overturn a 2-0 loss in the first leg.
