The Chairboys have won nine times on the road this term, and Lambert believes his side is better equipped to play away from home.
He said: "Their goal changes nothing. We'll go for it next weekend and, I tell you what, you won't get a better game in the league than the one you'll see next week.
"I love going to away games when everything's against you and there's a big home crowd. I've seen my players put in some unbelievable games away from home and we'll do it again next week.
"It was never going to be a game full of chances but I thought it was an excellent game for League Two. I couldn't ask for any more from my players and now we will go there next week to try and win the game."
