Swansea strengthen their attack

Kenny Jackett has only two fit strikers at the club - Lee Trundle and Paul Connor - and 29-year-old Thorpe would provide valuable cover.

He looks set to make his debut at Mansfield on Tuesday night.

Thorpe has made more than 300 career League appearances, including spells with the Cods, Lincoln and Welsh Premier outfit Bangor City, scoring 70 goals.
