Swansea name new stadium

After holding off the decision for more than a year and searching for a sponsor that would hopefully guarantee at least £250k per season, Swansea have given the new ground a general title

A council spokesman claimed: "If we give it a more specific title, even a temporary one, it will be a less attractive proposition for potential sponsors."

The move has been heavily slated by numerous critics, including Labour representative David Phillips, who described the situation as "pathetic and worrying."
