A Guillem Bauza brace just before the break confirmed the Swans' elevation to a division they have not played in for almost a quarter of a century.
"It's been an enjoyable season,'' Martinez told the club's official website. "We've set the pace for a long time in a very hard league.
"We've proved that you can be successful playing pretty football in the lower leagues. That's the way the Swansea fans want us to play and we've secured a place in the second tier for the first time in 24 years.
"Everyone involved should be very proud because we've done it in style. The players are strong and hungry for success and that's been our winning formula.
"Now we've got three games left to win the title. It's a unique opportunity and we'll be giving it everything we've got.''
