The Shrimpers are third in the League Two table going into a tense final day, where any one of the top four teams could claim the title.
And equally, and of the three teams currently in the automatic promotion places could end up in the lottery of the play-offs.
The Football League are monitoring a controversial poll on Grimsby's official website, where the club asked fans if they wanted to lose on Saturday if it could prevent the Iron being promoted - as of Tuesday dinnertime, 68.9 per cent of voters said they thought Town 'should let Southend win to stop Scunny going up'.
Despite this, Tilson reckons the Cods will be up for the game. He said: "It's still in our own hands and we have to go to Grimsby and win," he said after the 1-0 home defeat by Yeovil.
"Grimsby will want to spoil our party. It's a nervy time going into it - I won't sleep much between now and the game - but we can handle the pressure.
"There's a fine line between winning and losing but we will keep our heads up and certainly won't be hiding."
And Yeovil may be sitting pretty at the top of the League, but boss Gary Johnson knows his side must put in a good performance against Lincoln at Huish Park.
He warned: "Saturday was a massive result for us, but there is still work to do.
"I'm taking nothing for granted, and am certainly not celebrating just yet. The champagne remains on ice!"
