Scott is feeling the pressure after a poor start to the new campaign which sees his side go into Monday afternoon's game sitting 19th in Coca-Cola League One, whilst the Iron are amongst the pacesetters - currently sitting fifth, and joint at the top of the table with five other clubs.
Speaking after Saturday's 2-1 defeat at Huddersfield, Scott said: "Scunthorpe is a game that we have got to win - it is now a pressure game.
"It's a home game in front of our home supporters and we haven't won at home yet.
"When you are beaten away from home, your home games become vital."
