The 21-year-old has made just four appearances this season, but has returned to training and could be part of the squad to face Yeovil on Saturday.
He said: "We will see how it goes this week, but after three or four days good training we should know where I stand.
"It has been frustrating but, I would rather get this injury right now rather than making it worse in a couple of months and then being out longer.
"I'll just listen to the physio and the gaffer and hopefully be alright forthe weekend."
