Santander in for Newcastle striker

The former Deportivo La Coruna striker, who cost the Magpies £5.7million, has been a flop at St. James' Park, netting his only goal on his debut against Hull City.

The move for Xisco creates space for Peter Lovenkrands' return to Newcastle following his spell with the Championship side last season, where he scored three times in eleven appearances.
