The 19-year-old has made three appearances for John Gregory's side, starting the home defeats to Southampton and Cardiff City.
Gregory told the club's official website: "Hogan is a quality player. He's very versatile and has a good footballing brain for one so young.
"He's come in at a hugely difficult time for everyone connected to the club, but I'm sure we'll get to see the very best of him over the next month."
