Taylor's position has been called into question with Palace lodged in the bottom half of the Championship table and the former England Under-21 coach had few excuses for his side's latest poor show.
He said: "The first half was totally unacceptable. We looked tired and people didn't want to try and get on the ball.
"We are a team playing with no confidence and we looked frightened.
"The players are under pressure, but everyone's under pressure and we had to work hard to get a result.
"I'd love to be top of the table and winning but we don't deserve that. We've only got 10oints.
"We've got to fight hard together, but we need results, it's as simple as that."
