The former Colchester United boss has helped the London sie avoid relegation from League One, but has yet to settle on a long-term future with his employers.
He told the Ilford Recorder: "Time will tell. I can't speculate and I'm not going to speculate. When the time is right I will sit down with the chairman.
"I'm not interested in survival, I'm only interested in winning football matches and that's been the case since I came here.
"We're not going to turn off now, because there are plans for next season. There are still contracts to be earned and things like that are very important.
"There's also the paying public to consider. The support we have had has been fantastic and they want to see us winning games."
