It is claimed that the incident happend during a meeting at Belle Vue Dog Track on Tuesday February 24, when supporters met players.
"The incidents that happened are certainly disturbing and the board of directors are conducting a full investigation," said Alan Hardy, the club's chief executive.
"If anyone is found to have acted inappropriately thus bringing the club into disrepute, I would expect the strongest possible action would be taken and you can not discount sacking in this respect."
