Oldham defender joins Shrewsbury

Although the Shrews will pay nothing now, 30 per cent of any future transfer fee will be handed over to the Latics.

The 21-year-old left-back, who came through the ranks at Boundary Park, has signed a two-and-a-half year contract.

He made 41 appearances for Oldham, but found first-team opportunites limited following the arrival of Simon Charlton.
