The Swans will mark the occasion with a host of celebrations when Shrewsbury visit on Saturday, but Martinez is hoping the players can concentrate on the game ahead.
He told the Western Mail: "I am worried that all the festivities will be distracting.
"You don't want to say that the history of the ground should not be celebrated.
"But this is a match we want to win more than ever and the players have got to be 100 per cent focused on making sure we do it."
