The 19-year-old product of the club's academy has broken into the first team at the start of the new season and impressed Foxes boss Nigel Pearson with his progression.
"Andy has worked extremely hard during the time I have been at the club and he has earned his place in the first team," he told the club's official website.
"He played a lot of reserve team fixtures during pre-season, but he kept his head down and worked his way into the side.
"He is an excellent young prospect and we are delighted that he has committed his future to the club."
