The former Bolton and Newcastle boss Sam Allardyce remains the frontrunner to take over the Lancashire side, with the former Rovers favourite Alan Shearer ruling himself out of the running.
Ince has had a successful season with Milton Keynes, guiding them to the League Two title and the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.
"It is nice when you are being talked about by Premier League clubs. It shows I have done an okay job in my two years as a manager, which I am pleased about," Ince told Sky Sports News.
"Blackburn are a great club, with great traditions. They are a family club and Mark Hughes did a fantastic job there.
"I can't make any decisions until I have received a call from my chairman saying Blackburn have asked to speak to me. Blackburn would have to speak to my chairman first. If that happens, we will go from there."
