The youngster is on-loan with the Tigers until the new year, and has been in scintilating form.
He was influential in the 2-0 Boxing Day win over Wolves, taking his tally to
six goals in 13 appearances since joining the East Yorkshire side in October.
Brown said of his 20-year-old loan star: "Anybody who scores goals is an important asset and his sort of strike-rate would be appreciated in any division.
"He's on loan until the middle of January and, as far as I'm concerned, it's a no-brainer - I'd like to keep him until the end of the season.
"I'll try to do as much persuading as possible, but the decision is out of my hands."
