The Railwaymen have been searching for a new boss since dispensing with Steve Holland's services more than five weeks ago.
"I'll definitely be in charge for the Boxing Day game because we're having to prepare the team for two games in three days," Gradi told Alex's official website.
"I'm 99.9 per cent certain I'll be in charge for the Oldham game and most probably for the game after at Hartlepool.
"I'm happy to go for as long as the board need me too. I'm enjoying it and it's been fun because it's a short-term agreement.
"I'm ready to hand over whenever the new man is ready to come in and take over."
