The 1-0 victory over the Swans at Priestfield came hot on the heels of an equally-impressive win against Brentford.
And Jepson reckons his side have turned the corner, and have shown the desire needed to stay up.
He said: "It has been a tough week, against two teams going for promotion - I couldn't have got a better response.
"The three points are important, but with the two teams we have beaten this week, it should show the lads we shouldn't be at this end of the league.
"The desire to keep a clean sheet collectively was different class."
