Football League to recognise Chesterfield striker

The achievements of 'The Chief' will be celebrated at a special event at Sandpiper Hotel, Chesterfield on Thursday 9 March, where former World Cup referee Jack Taylor will make a presentation to the forward.

Allison said: "Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine my 200th goal would attract so much attention. I am very happy on a personal level but I don't want it to detract from what the team is doing, which is far more important."
