The former Yeovil star beat of competition from former Iron Paul Hayes, now at Barnsley, Kevin O'Connor of Brentford and Colchester's Chris Iwelumo.
Judging panel chairman Chris Kamara said: "McIndoe's performances this season have been fantastic and he's fast becoming one of the most talked about midfielders outside the top flight.
