Sheffield-born Green, 22, is a product of the Belle Vue youth academy and made a total of 47 appearances for Rovers last season, scoring seven goals.
Coppinger, 24, began his career as a trainee with Darlington and moved to Newcastle for £250,000 in March 1998 before switching to Exeter in July 2002 and then Rovers on a free transfer in June last year.
