The 34-year-old has signed on for another season at the Priestfield
Stadium and is confident that under new boss Neale Cooper they will enjoy a
successful League One campaign.
He said: "I am really pleased to be staying at the club. We had a terrible finish to last season and we were obviously all distraught when we went down on the final day.
"But having spoken to the manager and heard his thoughts on this
season.
"I am confident that we can challenge for a return straight back to the
Championship.
"The fans here have become used to us being in that division and we owe it
to them to try and get back up at the first attempt."
