Colchester swoop for defender Reid

Reid, who was reportedly a target for United last summer when he was on the transfer list at Oakwell, was released by Simon Davey on Monday.

He has signed a three year deal with the U's and joins fellow defenders Matt Lockwood and Paul Heath at the Weston Homes Community Stadium.
