The 24-year-old hit the headlines with match-winning strikes in the Cup wins over Manchester City and West Ham, and is the club's top scorer.
And now he has agreed to extend his stay at the Spireites by another year.
Chesterfield manager Roy McFarland said: "Caleb has really caught the eye with his performances this season and if that means he eventually moves to a higher league club in the future we will be pleased for him if that happens.
"In the meantime, Caleb has committed himself to being with Chesterfield for another year, and we are delighted with that."
