Carlisle sign Newcastle defender

The 20-year-old impressed playing in a behind-closed-doors friendly against Preston North End.

Now the Cumbrians have taken over his contract until the end of the season.

"We've had a good look at him and are happy to have him here," said manager Neil McDonald.
