Millen erred on the side of experience when selecting for the first time as
replacement for Brian Tinnion, who resigned following the 7-1 defeat at Swansea.
And it was the recalled Marcus Stewart who teed up Cotterill goal with a low
cross after Blackpool full-back Mark McGregor had gifted possession to
Steven Gillespie.
Blackpool equalised late on through Matt Blinkhorn, but Millen couldn't fault is players.
Millen said: "I was delighted by the response from the players after losing 7-1 at Swansea last weekend.
"They gave me everything and we looked a lot more solid as a unit."
