But with Lloyd Owusu, DJ Campbell, Isaiah Rankin, Ryan Peters and Marcus Gayle all ahead of him in the pecking order boss Martin Allen has told him he has no future at the club
"I've informed Scott he is available either for loan or for transfer from this club," Allen said.
"We have more than enough forwards, and I'm going to find it hard to get Scott into the matchday squad of 16, let alone the starting XI.
"I want to try to get him out playing, and to reduce our playing costs."
