This season the former Hull City man has made 11 starts with the Dons along with a further 15 appearances coming off the bench and has netted three times.
The 26-year old will provide cover for the suspended Dean Windass who has just started a five-match ban for verbally abusing referee Darren Drysdale in the car park at Valley Parade in January.
"I am not putting him under any pressure to score but he is different from what we have got. He is coming to score and link up with others," said Bantams boss Colin Todd.
"Things haven't panned out for him at Milton Keynes Dons and he now has the chance to put himself on display."
