The ground was made all seater four years ago, but the club ran out of money before they could add a fourth stand at the south end of the ground.
But a new temporary stand, which seats 1,100, will open when Swindon travel south on Saturday.
Chairman Peter Phillips said: "The encouraging thing is that we've sold over 700 tickets for it already, so it'll be pretty full.
"It now gives us flexibility, whether we have a big away support or a big home crowd expected.
"If we get a big away following like Nottingham Forest or Yeovil, we can get more away fans in - while on other occasions, we can sell more home tickets.
"But we would never have been able to have afforded to build it ourselves.
"Our supporters, as ever, have helped us, and done things for nothing - like helping install the seats.
"And as it's been sponsored, it means we only need to fill it a couple of times a season to break even - hopefully we can fill it more often."
