"We could be in line for another front player and we're still talking to Daniel Nardiello, we've not completed a deal with him yet," said Ritchie.
"We'll be speaking to him again next week, but if he does not agree terms we'll be looking for another.
"We have only Paul (Hayes) and Barry Conlon with youngsters Nathan Jarman and Nathan Joynes, so we're obviously looking for another striker."
Chairman Gordon Shepherd added: "We have made enquiries with another forward who would work very well with Paul, but that's currently on hold and nothing has come to fruition as yet."
