Youga featured at left back in Charlton's 1-1 FA Cup third round tie against Championship leaders West Bromwich Albion and Alan Pardew was pleased with his performance.
"I turned to all my staff on the bench and said we'd have to send all our players to Scunthorpe because the coaching is obviously better there," Pardew joked in his post match press conference.
"Kelly went away an inexperienced young professional, and has come back well coached, stronger, confident, and I thought he showed that," he added.
The likeable defender insisted he would love to come back to Scunthorpe if he wasn't going to get a look in at Charlton; but seems to have given Alan Pardew food for thought.
It adds to Nigel Adkins woes who hoped to bring back Youga on a permanent basis in the January window.
