The players reported back to the club on Wednesday, and will spend the next week building up their fitness in at the Champeys resort in Leicestershire.
It is the fifth time the Iron have visited the centre under Nigel Adkins' stint as manager. It will provide him with his first extended glimpse of summer signings Bobby Grant and Chris Dagnall in action.
He will not be able to fully focus on training as he continues to try and add to his side. An agreement with Huddersfield Town for the midfielder Michael Collins appears to hinge only on the two clubs settling on a transfer fee, while signing a left-back to replace Marcus Williams remains a priority.
The Iron will return to North Lincolnshire at the end of the week ahead of their first pre-season friendly at local non-league side Bottesford Town on Saturday.
