Eight fans met with senior staff at Glanford Park before Saturday's Championship game, where they discussed issues ranging from ticket concerns to plans to redevelop the Doncaster Road end of the ground.
People were invited to represent different sections of the Iron's support - but the club are still looking for someone from an ethnic minority and a user of the official coaches for away games.
The successful applicants would be asked to attend regular meetings - the next is scheduled ahead of the game against Nottingham Forest on December 11.
Supporters interested in joining the group are asked to email marketing manager Lesley Warburton on lesley.warburton@scunthorpe-united.co.uk.
