Rogers described Little’s decision to release the Nicky Summerbee and Alex Bruce without signing replacements as very frustrating and insisted that money is available to spend.
Her comments did not impress the club's fans and the Tranmere Rovers Supporters Association described Rogers' words as ill advised.
But Rogers told Sky Sports News: "All the things I said are no surprise to him (Brian Little).
"I can totally understand the supporters’ frustrations. The deadline for making signings is on Thursday and there is no vow of silence here.
"Hopefully he will do something before the window closes."
Speaking earlier in the week, Rogers said: "Unlike some other clubs, we have financial stability and money to spend. We are under performing and it can't be allowed to continue. We will be meeting with Brian to discuss this.
"There can't be many clubs where week after week the board is encouraging the manager to strengthen the squad.
"Usually it's the other way but in this case the board has wanted to invest in the squad for the last few months. It's very frustrating."
