Organiser Anthony Dent said: "Aiming for a start up date before the last game was unrealistic and if we did rush things we would fail like so many others.
"We have now set wheels in motion to create a proper organisation which will be in place for kick off next season.
"We will have the best supporters association in any league, the advice and assistance we are getting is second to none in the sphere of supporters organisations.
"I am confident that our association will not only benefit the supporters but also benefit SUFC."
