Sparrow out for six weeks

The 25-year-old will not need surgery but faces a minimum of six weeks rehabilitation to correct the problem.

The news comes as a relief to boss Nigel Adkins as there were initial worries that the injury was much worse.

Sparrow has been in superb form this season, partnering Ian Baraclough in the centre of midfield and scoring three goals.
