Sparrow and Evans are stars of season

Matty Sparrow capped off a tremendous season last night as he was presented with the Ernie Storey Memorial Trophy, H& L Garages Sponsors trophy and Scunthorpe Telegraph trophy.

Combined with the Irish Iron award, which was presented to him after the 2-0 win over Oxford, means he ends the season with four awards.

Tommy Evans equalled his achievement as he collected four awards in last nights ceremony.

He took the John Rees Away award, John Rees Memorial award, Gerry Hewitt Memorial award (disabled supporters club) and the London and South East Supporters Club award.

Nathan Stanton was handed the official supporters club award, while Martin Carruthers was presented with the manager's achievement award in recognition of his 20 goals this season.
