Local Premier League referee Neale Barry carried out the noon inspection, and the second inspection this evening will be carried out by match referee Scott Mathieson.
Iron manager Brian Laws will be forced into changes if the game goes ahead, and will hand debuts to loan signings Paul Groves and Darren Holloway.
The duo joined the club on Friday, and will make their delayed debuts tonight after Saturday's game at York (rearranged for March 9) was postponed.
Andy Butler and Matty Sparrow will both miss out through suspension.
