Robins trial ex-Iron target

The former Newcastle midfielder turned down the chance to have a trial period with the Iron on the eve of the season to join League Two promotion chasers Carlisle.

However the 26-year-old was released by the Cumbrians in December and Robins boss Gary Johnson is now running the rule over the player.
