Rhodes, 21, hit a hat-trick in Saturday's 3-1 win over Preston at the Galpharm Stadium - his third such feat in that five-game run.
"To score 13 goals in five matches is unheard of. I played with some of the best strikers in the world - Alan Shearer, Kevin Phillips, Les Ferdinand, Louis Saha and Andrew Cole - they were all phenomenal scorers but I am sure none of them have matched that," said Lee Clark, the Terriers boss.
"Jordan wants to get better and in the coming weeks there will be lots of nonsense about him going here, there and everywhere but the chairman has made it clear he doesn't need or want to sell him."
Saturday's win over the Lilywhites also stretched Huddersfield's unbeaten run in regular season league games - they were well beaten 3-0 by Peterborough in last season's play-off final - to 39.
The Iron are in less eye-catching form, but have curtailed early season defensive struggles and head into the game on the back of two consecutive clean sheets in goalless draws at Brentford and MK Dons.
