Five players have left the club since the 2-1 success at Victoria Park on January 2, with four of those included in that squad.
Shane Duffy, who started in central defence, has been recalled from his loan by parent club Everton.
Oliver Norwood, who was in central defence, and goalkeeper Sam Johnstone, who was on the bench, have returned to Manchester United following the end of their loan spells at Glanford Park.
Striker Chris Dagnall, a late substitute, has joined Barnsley, while defender Michael Nelson - who wasn't even in the squad after falling dramatically out of favour - has left the club bound for the Scottish Premier League side Kilmarnock.
There are three new faces, too. Striker Connor Jennings, signed from Stalybridge, is likely to be on the bench while Christian Ribeiro - on loan from Bistol City - and midfielder Josh Walker - signed from Watford - are more likely to push for a starting place.
Winger Jimmy Ryan is expected to miss out with a knee problem, with captain Cliff Byrne (groin) also a doubt.
Paul Reid is likely to be elevated into the starting line-up in place of Duffy, while Josh Lillis could return to the bench having made a return for the reserves in midweek.
Striker Matt Godden (hip) and midfielders Damien Mozika (ankle) and Michael Collins (Achilles) are long-term absentees.
