The 30-year-old had been with the League Two side for almost two months, making seven League Two appearances for the Bulls.

But with Matt Sparrow ruled out for at least six weeks, the midfielder could now come into first team contention.

He has made one league start for United so far this season, scoring in the 1-1 draw at Bournemouth.
