But Laws insists the report is wide of the mark, and he is 100 per cent committed to United.
"I know what has been said in one of the national newspapers, but all I can say is that no-one from Norwich City has been in contact with me," he told the Scunthorpe Telegraph.
"Of course it is flattering to be linked with a bigger club, but all I am concentrating on at the moment is our home game with Brighton."
Norwich striker Peter Thorne admits the players at his club are as in the dark as the fans.
"“It is very strange at the moment. A lot of the talk is about who the new manager will be," he said.
"I would be lying if I said we didn't talk about it. When we come in we all ask if anyone has heard anything but no one has - and that's genuine. We are just waiting like everyone else."
