Laws said: "It would be easy for us to make changes, but the important thing is had we won the game on Saturday I would have looked at this game quite differently.
"I would probably have changed quite a lot but as it stands we need to get some confidence going into the game against Northampton on Friday so the majority of the team that started on Saturday will be playing."
However, Laws hinted he may play on loan striker Steve MacLean and fan's favourite Paul Hayes together for the first time, meaning a rest for target-man Steve Torpey.
Mark Jackson and Wayne Graves will also be in contention for a starting place tonight having returned to the bench on Saturday but Tommy Evans will definately have to be content with a place on the bench once again with Laws set to keep faith with on loan keeper Sam Russell.
Meanwhile for Shrewsbury, highly rated hit man Luke Rodgers will miss out with a fractured hand.
