It was reported by the BBC on Friday that he was set to be offered the chance to take over at the Owls, where he has attended two interviews to replace Paul Sturrock.
But after watching his side held to a 1-1 draw at Huddersfield, he insisted claims his move was a done deal are wide of the mark.
"I am still the manager of Scunthorpe United and will see the players on Monday morning for training," he insisted.
"I can tell you nothing has been agreed. People in the newspapers keep saying I've signed a contract - but if I have, they'll have to show me because I don't remember signing one.
"Quotes are flying around all over the place saying I've done this, that or the other and I don't know where it comes from.
"I have done nothing. I haven't even moved a muscle. All I have been doing is sitting at home on the sofa watching TV with the wife.''
Huddersfield boss Peter Jackson was relieved to see his side claim a point, after seeing his side dominate the later stagers in search of an equaliser.
Veteran striker Andy Booth struck six minutes from time to cancel out Matty Sparrow's first-half opener.
"The players stuck at it and got their reward. We are still within striking distance of the play-offs, and while I know our fans are frustrated, our run will come. I am certain of it," he said.
"A real bonus for us was the debut of Joe Skarz at left back. He is only 17, but can look back on his debut with pride. He did well against Cleveland Taylor - who is one of the best wide players in this division."
