Laws looks to strengthen defence

With Mark Jackson now ruled out for around four weeks Laws has turned his attention to his back line and has spent Monday trying to bring a player into the club.

He had previously stated that he had spoken to a Premiership Club about a player, but a story on United's official website links the club with a move for Hull City defender Greg Strong.

Strong is currently out of favour at the Tiggers, and recently went on loan to Cheltenham Town in the second division.

Laws confirmed: "We are looking at a number of defenders at the moment following the injury to Mark Jackson."
